Fun moms don’t mind a mess once in awhile
If you know me at all, you know I enjoy crafting and having fun with my kids. I have 4 of them (so far) and we always enjoy making up our own fun.
Arts and Crafts can be most anything that involves glue, paper, scissors, and a mess. While the mess is not my favorite part to clean up, my kids don’t mind helping out (well, not too much…) because it means I will be happy to do another project soon.
Another aspect of Arts and Crafts on this blog will be anything that brings out the creative side of kids. It might be through music, creative writing, or theatre… or maybe even something new for us. If it makes us smile and brings someone else along for the ride, we are up for the challenge.
My own mom was my inspiration for making things from scratch and not giving up when it got frustrating for me. I’ll admit there were things I never did finish, but I found out there was something else I could finish…making a mess. Thanks, Mom, for making me a fun mom, too, and for teaching me how to clean it up with a smile.
